The team at Verde continues to grow and expand. The skill level and talents of our team have become so refined that we wanted to create an project that would allow the team to work together to create something beautiful, while being able to express themselves artistically.
Our Creative Director, Jenna Moore drew inspiration for the project from Verde’s eco friendly environmental values. Her main benchmarks were The Elements:
Jenna enlisted the photography skills of Lauren Schwarz who loves to capture beauty in raw form. Lauren’s clean; organic style of shooting fit perfectly into the theme and Jenna felt her style would bring the Verde Team’s artistic vision to life.
The location of the shoot was The Peacefield Farm. The 110+ acre farm is where Verde Front Desk Manager, Beth and her family have lived for over 20 years. It’s an ideal location to bring to life a visual project honoring the elements.
Honoring the authenticity of Mother Earth, we opted to feature real people as opposed to professional models in our project to keep a sense of purity about the photos. Repurposing is a huge factor in all environmental projects so we opted for vintages clothes from Malena’s Vintage Shop.
Salon owner, Kevin, was the lead colorist on the shoot and opted to use color techniques and color by color.me from kevin.murphy. Kevin loves this line because it uses an artful blend of gentle and “from the earth” ingredients that naturally moisturize, rejuvenate and impart incredible shine without having to further compromise the environment.
